However, as soon as the video of the monkey (by the way, judging by its appearance, very confident and competent in this area) spread over the Internet, the authorities of the region and the driver’s bosses immediately drew attention to it.
The representative of the transportation company noted that the safety of passengers should not be neglected by putting a monkey behind the wheel.
Such a decision of the authorities, of course, is not very popular on the network, where people did not see anything wrong with the driver’s joke. One viewer commented on the actions of the authorities:
“Why should a person be removed from work for this? You could have just given him a warning so it wouldn’t happen again.”
Witnesses to the incident say that the monkey got on the bus with one of the passengers, but flatly refused to sit anywhere other than the front seat, right with the driver, who was not at all against such an trick of a playful animal. The monkey sat on the steering wheel with impunity while the driver continued to drive the bus as if nothing had happened.
In defense of the driver, it can be noted that he still kept one hand on the steering wheel throughout the entire video. Well, in defense of the monkey, that she really seems to be following the road (although her ability to use mirrors, perhaps, remains in question).
According to eyewitnesses, the monkey and its owner peacefully left the bus when it stopped at the stop they needed. And the driver continued his working day already alone.
